Submissions for the 2019 Recovery Street film festival are closed

There are still ways to get involved in this year's festival;

This year we are launching the Recovery Street Film Festival event at the Everyman Theatre in King’s Cross. Book your Free ticket before it’s too late!

Congratulations to the 2017 winning entry 'Kelly's Story' which celebrates the theme of 'making up for lost time'.

In the film above, Kelly talks about her experience of addiction, homelessness, losing her children and ultimately what encouraged her to seek help and work towards her recovery. It is a powerful and emotional story, which we believe many people will be able to connect with.

If you are interested in making a film to submit this year have a look at our guide with some useful tips about how to make a short film (submission dates will be announced later in the year).

If you'd like to support the festival as either a charity partner or a commercial organisation find out more here.
