Step Inside Recovery: Stories of Courage, Creativity, and Community
We’re thrilled to join the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) this Dry January for a special showcase of six award-winning short films from the Recovery Street Film Festival 2025. These powerful films explore addiction, recovery, and the strength of community, all told by filmmakers with lived experience.
After the screenings, join a panel discussion chaired by Professor Sally Marlow, featuring RSFF Creative Director Maddie Kitchen FRSA, filmmaker Alex Mazonowicz (IS), and Nicola Hollinshead from Islington People’s Theatre. Together, they’ll explore how storytelling can heal, connect, challenge stigma, and inspire hope. The evening concludes with networking and conversation, offering a chance to engage directly with the filmmakers and recovery community.
