A few months ago we spoke with staff from the newly merged Alcohol Concern/Alcohol Research UK about the Recovery Street Film Festival. The team was extremely interested in learning more about the festival, as well as exploring how they could get involved with supporting us.

We are pleased to announce that Alcohol Concern/Alcohol Research UK has signed up to be a charity supporter and will be using their reach to help promote the 2018 festival, as well as encourage services to submit an entry and host a screening in September.

Richard from Alcohol Concern/Alcohol Research UK had this to say:

"We are really pleased to be supporting this year's Recovery Street Film Festival. The festival provides an inspiring and creative way for those affected by drug and alcohol misuse to share their stories. We're really excited about this year's theme, 'My Lightbulb Moment', and can't wait to hear all the compelling personal stories about what inspired those with lived experience of dependency to change, whether that be their own experience of recovery or the journey they went on with a loved one".
