Join us for the launch of the 2020 Recovery Street Film Festival

This year has been a little different to say the least but we are so excited that we were still able to still do the Festival. Not only to share inspirational stories of recovery and try to address stigma but to give you a chance to share your experience of lockdown, have your voice heard and maybe learn a new skill or two along the way.

The theme this year was Isolation. Substance use and isolation have long gone hand in hand, social isolation is a serious epidemic that many people using drugs and alcohol can understand. So we asked what isolation meant for you and how has COVID-19 changed your world? This years entries have not disappointed and the organising group would like to thank everyone that took part for their honest and inventive submissions.

All the films are now with the judges for scoring and we are excited to announce that the online launch will take place on 10th September at 4pm, live streamed our Facebook page. Don’t panic if you don’t have Facebook we will also be posting the films on our Twitter and shortly after the launch they will all be available on our YouTube channel.

After the live stream we will be announcing the 2020 Recovery Street Film Festival winner. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Entries for this years festival are now closed. Join us for the online launch on 10th September at 4pm
